At Kings and Queens Medical University College, our governance structure is deliberately engineered to bridge the traditional gap between academic theory and clinical realities.
By establishing parallel, co-equal branches led by the Vice Chancellor of the Medical School and the Medical Director of the Teaching Hospital, we ensure that every administrative decision is peer-reviewed through both pedagogical and patient-care lenses. This dual-axis system creates a closed-loop feedback mechanism, ensuring our curriculum evolves in real-time with clinical advancements.

Cross-Functional Governance Bodies
While the organogram represents our vertical chain of command, operational excellence is driven horizontally through our specialized, interdisciplinary committees.
The Joint Academic Senate
Composed of the Vice Chancellor, all Deans, and HODs. This body holds ultimate sovereignty over the university’s curriculum, degree-awarding protocols, and pedagogical innovation.
Clinical Governance Board
Chaired by the Medical Director, alongside Nursing and Pharmacy Directors. This board ensures that all hospital practices meet global WHO patient safety and care standards.
Finance & Resource Council
Led by the Director of Finance and Administration. Responsible for capital allocation, infrastructure expansion, and fiduciary reporting to the Board of Directors.
Institutional Review Board (IRB)
An independent body of Research Scientists and Consultants ensuring all medical trials and student research comply strictly with international bioethical frameworks.
Student Affairs Directorate
A collaborative body linking the Dean of Students with Hospital Administration to oversee the mental, physical, and residential welfare of our medical interns and students.
