Historical Timeline
The Royal Charter
KQMUC is officially established. The foundational charter is signed, granting the institution the mandate to provide world-class, research-driven medical education. Ground is broken on our state-of-the-art flagship campus in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The Central Teaching Hospital
Inauguration of the KQMUC Central Teaching Hospital. This milestone firmly integrated our undergraduate academic learning directly with high-volume, specialized patient care, creating the clinical bedrock of the university.
GTEC & Medical Council Affirmation
The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and the Medical and Dental Council officially validate our curricula, granting full accreditation and degree-awarding status across our core clinical disciplines.
